Hi! I'm Heather!
I am a North Carolina Photographer that loves photographing the love of others. I have three loving children that inspired me to pursue my passion by capturing loving memories in others life!
I selected the name Love Always Photography because the phrase 'Love Always' carries a special significance for me. My mother would often say this to me, causing me to reflect on my actions and prioritize expressing love above all else.
During my teenage years, my mother's diagnosis of cancer and eventual passing a year after my high school graduation made it challenging to appreciate the beauty of life. However, after overcoming the darkness with the help of starting a family, I rediscovered the love my mother taught me about and found solace in their embrace.
As the days went by and I became more aware of the swiftness of time, I concluded that I wanted to preserve these memories for the future, not only for myself but for others as well. To achieve this, I started offering my talent and services, 3 years ago, to others. This way they can also cherish these special moments in life.
It was only fitting to name my business Love Always Photography, in honor of my mother and as a reminder to always love.
Hello, I am Heather McGinnis
As a mother of three, I have a unique perspective and eye for capturing special moments through photography. Being a mother, I have witnessed time going by too quickly. That's why I think it is so important to capture these memories and hold on to them, so we can cherish them for years to come. This helped fuel my passion for photography which has been growing for over a decade and I have been fortunate enough to turn my passion into a profession for the past three years.
I have a deep passion for all forms of photography, but my true loves are family, motherhood, maturity, and children's photography. I find so much joy in capturing the innocence and curiosity of children, and I take great pride in creating images that evoke authentic emotions. I have experience with early childhood education, including a previous Pre-K teacher, for 10 years which I bring into each family session to help connect with children to capture their smiles and laughs.
FAQ
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes! I do not mind traveling, especially to get to the perfect location! However, I do charge .65 cents per mile to travel over 20 miles.
What should we wear for our session?
Once we figure out a location that suits the vibe that you are looking for, we can look at different styles of outfits. I will send over an outfit guide which will help with color schemes and even patterns. You will also have access to my client closet to see if there is anything there you would like to wear to make the experience a little bit easier.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Typically I say about two weeks for you to receive your gallery, but could be less time.
Do you have any location ideas?
Yes! I do! I will send you a couple of places to review to see if it is a location you would like to take your photos at.
